Bachelors of Science in Special Education and Elementary Education from Bradley University, Masters in Reading from Concordia University, and ELL Endorsement from Concordia University

What is your current position?

Student Services teacher

What is your favorite part about your position?

Working with small groups of students, getting to know them, and work closely with their families. 

What is your go-to afternoon pick-me-up?

I love La Croix!

What book is on your nightstand?

About to start reading The Guest List by Lucy Foley. It’s on Reese’s book club list. 

What is your favorite Sears tradition?

I love the Halloween Parade! It’s so fun to see everyone dressed up and the community gather to watch. 

What are some Fun Facts about you?

I knew I wanted to be a teacher at an early age. My family and I started volunteering for the Special Olympics when I was 10 years old and from then on I knew I wanted to help people who have disabilities.

 I love traveling and have been to Italy 3 times. 

What is something that makes Sears special?

I love that there are so many fun traditions.
